RG Concrete Application for Employment

5-10 Years of Commercial Concrete experience prefered. 

Symon forms, gang forms, etc.  

• Communicate and enforce all safety regulations.
• Manage supplies, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate essential personnel on-site for the project.
• Plan, direct and budget activities concerned with the construction of structures, facilities, or systems.
• Read and interpret site plans, construction drawings and scopes of work.

Main responsibilities would be to provide estimating on multiple Commercial, Retail, Mixed use, and Multi-Family projects, including quantity takeoffs, pricing, solicitation of bidders, bidding, and follow up of award with Customers. 

This is a unique opportunity to join a small company undergoing controlled growth and working with some of Utah’s leading General Contractors. 

Estimate to include complete concrete general requirements or conditions, crane needs, steel embeds, forms, materials, and rough carpentry.

Establishes a rough draft schedule of the project in order to develop estimate pricing, general conditions, and concrete general requirement.

Reviews established budget estimate, take offs, and bid to assist the project manager and job cost accountant with setting up the proper codes and organization of the job cost report.

Required Knowledge & Skills 

• 5-10 Years of Commercial Concrete Estimating Experience 

• Planswift / AutoCad 

• Microsoft 365 Products including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook and Word 

• B2W 

• B2W-Tracker 

• Preference given for a Bachelor’s of science degree in Civil Engineering, Construction  Management, or equal level of experience. 

• An understanding of engineering drawings, and specifications, and the ability to coordinate with multiple levels of Management and Field disciplines is required.

We are looking for experienced and Concrete Carpenters/ Laborers for Footing and Foundation Concrete work. 

Experience with Forming and Pouring-Footings, Walls, Foundations on Commercial projects helpful. We are also looking for those with experience in Residential
